Ideas from yesterday's announcement

As you all know, we announced yesterday the existence of our previously low-profile organization. I solicited ideas, and here is what we have so far:

• Scrap the red plastic cups altogether (Roz, Peggy, and Juliet)
• Use coffee cups or dixie cups for water instead of red plastic cups (Peggy and Juliet)
• Employees should only use one paper plate and not two at a time (Peggy)
• Can we put plastic forks, spoons, etc. in the diswasher and then recycle them? (Peggy)
• Use the one-third length paper towels instead of the full-length towels (Roz)
• Waterless urinals for the men's room upstairs (Darius)
• A four-day work week (Anonymous)
• Plastic and glass recycling containers for the upstairs break room (Fanchon)
• Raise money through the EcoPhones Recycling Fundraiser: http://www.green-recycling-fundraiser.org/ (Tam)
• Incentives for carpooling and riding bicycles, including a bike rack in front of the building(Elba)
• Composting coffee grounds and tea leaves, etc. (Elba/Mark)
  

These points can form the basis for our next meeting, which will have to wait until after the national finals.
